Pretend Play Puppet Theater / Storefront

Encourage pretend play with this versatile wood toy build!  Easily converting from a tabletop puppet theater to a storefront – children will love playing for hours.  It’s a simple DIY project made with just one 1×6 board and some 1×3 pieces.  You can customize and personalize it to make it even more special.

And when play is all done, it all snaps in place with built in storage and a handle – so it’s easy to transport and put away!

I teamed up with Jaime Costiglio to create this free project plan for you.

Together we collaborate to bring you new gift plans every Friday in the weeks leading up to Christmas for our annual Handbuilt Holiday series – you can see all the plans we’ve shared over the years here.

I’m sharing the plans below, and Jaime Costiglio is sharing the build tutorial with lots more photos and build tips here.

Enjoy! Ana
